It’s 2019! Not only is it a new year, it also marks ALMOST a year and a half of being in business! 2018 was a good year for The Collective— so many new faces, returning customers and AMAZING product. But as always, the product, the relationships, the everything just continue to get better and better. The other day I had the opportunity to connect two customers. I always try to introduce my shoppers to each other, as my shop (if you haven’t been here yet) is pretty tiny. They ended up talking with me for quite a bit. The next time one of the customers from that day came in, she was raving about how much she loved the other gal and asked if she could leave her a note, so that I could give it to her new friend. It really made my day, as one of my founding goals for The Collective was to create community. I love clothes, accessories, styling, but really, when it comes down to it, I love people. I love connecting, listening, sharing. And when my customers can feel that love, that energy too, it becomes a pretty special place. Not just a store. It becomes a little bit like home.
